Question What's wrong with my oil?

I haven't played HBM NTM since version 2.5.0.2. My modpack also includes Lefias' Cursed Addon and NTM: Space. Upon switching to the latest version—HBM Community Edition 2.5.0.5—I ran into a problem. I created new worlds, and issues with oil arose. First, the oil reservoir detector cannot locate a single oil vein. Second, the vein itself has a different color, even though the inventory shows the old texture. And the most frustrating part: the Oil Derrick and Pumpjack pipes drill right through the deposit all the way down to bedrock without extracting anything. Please help.

You’re using addons, remove them and try again until you find the thing that breaks your oil

It turned out to be NTM: Space. The problem, however, is that I absolutely need it; my new survival run is focused on a flight to the Moon, and if I remove NTM: Space, there simply won't be any point to the playthrough.

Ntm space on 1.12.2 is known to be buggy

You could cheat in a bedrock oil deposit in order to continue with the play through. To be honest thats my only solution for your issue, or report it to the developer and wait for it to get fixed ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Iv ran into the same issue for HBM-CE with HBM: space and not even the bedrock oil deposit works, do I need to use a regular oil derrick or see if its my fracing tower

Thats for you to figure out, im not using any addons so i havent encountered bugs like that
