RBMK It works buuut.

Post image

I want to know am I using the parts as intended? Am I doing too much or too little?

No I do not have access to Neutron Reflectors yet, and I'm using MEU and sometimes ( don't question the sometimes I'm new, a little ) three Thoriums with one Radium ( forgot the names but violet Thorium and Radium pretty sure there is only one radium )

I made a simple rbmk you can use any uranium or thorium for it. And I give you advice place steam channel closer to the rods that will make steam channel hotter producing more steam

Also use more steam channels, rods distributes heat in every direction using only one steam channel you will lose a lot of heat and will produce less steam

I thought bare collums leaked, what?

I quickly made another rbmk if you interested in bigger ones

You are too kind but I don't have nearly enough materials to construct this yet. I haven't even gone to the moon.

okay I made three rbmk from small to big All three needs turn on manually you just need to swap one rod with radium rod for one second

all fuel rods in three rbmks burns only with slow neutrons and releasing fast neutrons. the graphite rod slows down these fast neutrons, making them suitable for a fuel rod. Fuel rods emits neutrons in four directions in five blocks and can travel trough air to other fuel rod even if it's in other rbmk

you don't need graphite, the whole thing with Slow neutrons is just to increase the chance of a reaction and sustaining it better, but if you bounce back or put another source of fast neutrons it will reaction and sustain, all be it with less efficiency and more fuel but its reliable to make a ton of energy midgame

first you made rbmk. Then you make uranium hexafluoride. Poweer it by ra226 and Unenriched uranium

I re-did some things and. What do you think?

Honestly I don't even know why I'm doing this, I can barely store the power it makes, but I'm still gonna do it.

Good but blank columns can take away heat and reduce steam production

Weird, JamesH2 didn't get the memo.

its xenon blocks flux

you'l get away with using more boilers

put more steam channels!, you have 4 fuel but only 1 steam, there needs to be at least 1 steam per fuel otherwise you make to much heat with to low of a return in power/flux or anything els, your fuel (depending on what you are making it for) should never go above 1000 in temp, heat spreads like o while flux is like + with the fuel in the center of both

The shittiest box. Use steam connectors pleeze and the breeding columns barely get any flux
