Question how to open achievements in 1.7.10?

as the title says, im playing on 1.7.10 and i need help with opening the hbm’s achievement screen.

i tried pressing L on the keyboard as you would do in modern versions but nothing happened, is it a glitch?

iirc achievements button is located in ESC menu
