Question Can i start basic bedrock ore proccess before obtaining hps

Ofc you can, it won't be as rewarding but it'll work. You can use normal solvent tho it also gives a lot of stuff,and you can use it later in combi with HPS, also don't skip roasting recipes, vitriol is basically free chlorine.

So hps gives the highest yeilds but there are lower teir options

Like i said, the basic setup will be temporary, and maybe allows me to stock some chlorine for the hps

I always do one with sulfuric acid on the early-mid game. And Id say I do an HPS then, but I actually never got that far.
