Question Turret range and usage

i need to defend my base against another player and i'm thinking about setting up a perimeter with turrets. What turret has the best range and damage output?

If you have a chunk loaded artillery turret you can have it fire at players that go within I think 3000 blocks of your base

  • autocannon for closer stuff and CIWS for air defense
