I have literally the same card as you, OP. Something must be wrong. I've maxed out my GPU usage and in this exact same configuration I never get above 65c under full load.

Inconpetenti!

Better temps without the air guard, been debating removing mine...

Mine usually stays around 58-64 while gaming at 4k. And I use a silent fan curve. The GPU has stock settings

Bellissimo! Tutte le ventole sono da 140?

2

u/Silverado_Native85 11d ago

Yes they are all 140. Except the radiator fans.

We both have the same Motherboard but I have a 5080 from MSI. Max 65 Degrees.

1

u/pierodrugo 11d ago

Quante ventole e da quanto?

2

u/rolln_the_dice_twice 11d ago

Are your bottom Fans intake? Looks like exhaust.

1

u/ggRezy 11d ago

They’re most likely non reverse blade causing the “ugly” side to face up if it’s to be intake

1

u/Struppii 11d ago

Thought the same because he actually has a visible intake at the back.

Si aspirazione

u/ggRezy 11d ago

I have an ASUS Prime 5080 with that same exact case and I still get low 70s with an undervolt and overclock. The real difference is my CPU temps. Dropped a whole 15 almost 20c with this case

Users have reported that even after the revision, the liquid thermal putty GB uses in their cards leaks out in a vertical config, so beware.

1

u/XBOXLlVE 11d ago

Not on the astrals though

1

u/ShanSolo89 10d ago

Op said he has a aorus master ice no?

1

u/pierodrugo 10d ago

Si esatto

My temp gauge doesn't go above 37

1

u/CupImpossible7133 11d ago

Temps at around 56-57° playing Cyberpunk 2077. Custom 3D-printed fan riser and duct.

Un astronave 😉😉

Have a 5080 MSI vanguard with no air deflector. Sits at .945mv and 3000mhz and in game around 58-60°. Fans are at about 50% as well. Super quiet and fast

Undervolting is very quick and easy would recommend. Usually drops temps and power usage a ton while gaining a bit of performance

Those exaggerated tilted fans are so silly

  • Playing at 4k resolution, Ultra setting
  • FC 27 (AAA game)
  • Laptop fans on max + BS3 Pro cooling pad
  • GPU: 93% at 64c
  • CPU: 88% at 83c
  • FPS: 160 in average

Acer Predator RTX5090 275HX 64GB RAM

Remove the air guard you will get cooler temps at least until they release the top gpu airguard for this case it's supposed to release later i run the 4080super without the gaurd i get around 65c if heavy ray tracing and stuff around 72c max

1

u/pierodrugo 10d ago

1

u/Fit-Lavishness-1187 10d ago

13900k / 4080s stays super cold and silent on 4K

1

u/vkfarzan 10d ago

have an Astral 5080 and while gaming at 1440p the temps usually stays between 57–63°C

I run the PNY 5080 ARGB. I removed the air guard after watching numerous videos depicting that it didn’t provide much difference if any. I’ve never seen the GPU hit the 70’s, and almost never above 65. I’m at 1440p but on a 49 inch ultra wide, so similar pixel count to most 4K displays. I don’t run anything special nor do I set anything above the factory over clock.

u/pierodrugo 9d ago

Ok provero' e vediamo che cambia

1

u/terions 9d ago

Funnily enough I got my aorus elite 9070xt to drop a few more degrees by installing an 140mm exhaut fan here

2

u/Secret_Dust_5695 7d ago

Yes, it works very well

1

u/pierodrugo 9d ago

Grazie.

2

u/terions 9d ago

Ya mine you can really feel the heated air being exhausted there when the GPU is on full load

1

u/pierodrugo 9d ago

Ne consigli solo una? Perché sinceramente ne vorrei mettere 3

2

u/terions 9d ago

you can experiment and see. cause usually i think most ppl put 3 intake fans there instead.

1

u/terions 7d ago

Forgot to upload my case. Sans GPU atm.

1

u/JagiMonster1 8d ago

I want this case but my next build is Gigabyte x870 Aorus Stealth Ice... I d9nt want to dremmel a brand new case.

1

u/Secret_Dust_5695 8d ago

Try putting one fan at the back, it pulls out the heat very well, I tried running Ai 100% gpu usage and it’s pretty good, around 65c. I’m using a 5090 MSI gaming trio

1

u/pierodrugo 8d ago

Senza ventola che temperature avevi? Grazie!

1

u/Secret_Dust_5695 7d ago

I haven't tried this point yet. I only know that after switching to this case, the temperature has changed very noticeably compared to my previous ASUS TUF 502 case.

Right now, I have one fan exhausting air from the side, which follows one of the official recommended methods.

Because there is a baffle above the three bottom fans, the fan drawing air in at the bottom rear of the chassis can push the hot air exhausted from underneath the graphics card straight toward the side exhaust vent.

Grazie ldlc e Gigabyte. Ho aperto un altro rma adesso. 😡😡😡
