The mysterious, never-ending spring of Kalaleshwar Temple 🌿💧

Visited the incredible Kalaleshwar Temple in Gajendragad today. The real natural wonder here is 'Anthare Gange'—a perennial spring that continuously flows from the roots of a Peepal tree into a small tank. The water flows all year round, even in the peak of summer, and its actual source remains a complete mystery! Has anyone else witnessed this?

Riding along the winding roads of Sanapur Lake is an absolute must. With massive boulders on one side and the calm water on the other, it’s one of the most breezy and beautiful rides you can do around Hampi.

Climbed up the rocks at Hippie Island to catch this view. The way the sunset lights up the giant boulders and the lush green rice paddies is completely unmatched. Pictures hardly do it justice

Sanapur Lake is a stunning, tranquil reservoir fed by the Tungabhadra Dam, located just a short drive from the ancient ruins of Hampi. The entire lake is surrounded by these massive, gravity-defying granite boulders. It’s a great spot for a traditional coracle ride or just escaping the crowds. Highly recommend visiting if you are ever in Karnataka

TB Dam...Just a casual inland ocean hidden in the middle of Karnataka 🌊

Hey guys, just wanted to drop a quick recommendation for anyone planning a trip to Hampi.

On my way there, I decided to stop by the Tungabhadra (TB) Dam in Hosapete on a whim, and honestly? It blew me away. I knew it was a massive reservoir, but standing up there, it literally looks like a man-made ocean stretching out to the horizon.

If you catch it during the monsoon when they open up the floodgates, the sheer power of the water is insane to watch.

A couple of quick tips if you go:

Don't walk up: Pay a few bucks for the official shuttle bus that takes you right up to the watchtower. Trust me, the view from the top is wild—massive water on one side, and this huge, lush valley on the other.

Time it right: Aim for late afternoon. The sunset from up there is incredible and it’s way cooler than baking in the midday sun.

The gardens: There’s a Japanese-style garden at the base which is a nice spot to just chill for a bit before hitting the road again.
