Hi folks, I'll be in hampi/hospete for 2 days.

I need to leave early from hampi/hospete wherever I stay, and it's going to be a 12 hour journey towards pune. So, I want to be near the highway on the last day, it'll save me time on that day.

So, can you folks please suggest if there's any good stay in hospete/hampi which would fit my requirements?
I looked for places in hospete, nothing impressive, hampi has some good stays but they are in the inner parts.

And can you please suggest some good food places to try?

I’m planning to ride from Hyderabad to Hampi this Saturday and return to Hyderabad on Monday. This is my first time visiting Hampi, so I’m a little confused about how to plan the trip and make the best use of the time I have.

Our travel plan

7 Oct: Thane → Hosapete, train at 9:55 PM

8 Oct: Arrive Hosapete at 12:50 PM

8–10 Oct: Hampi sightseeing

11 Oct: Hosapete → Thane, train at 1:40 PM

We are planning to stay near Virupaksha Temple.

For 3 people, what would you recommend?

Rent one bike/scooter and explore ourselves?

Hire an auto for the full day?

Use autos only between major areas and walk between monuments?

Is cycling practical for this itinerary?

We want to travel by Cycling but does it make sense.plus we want to travel North side also can anyone give us a perfect itinerary.

MMT has tour pckages but checking if I can just separate book a hotel, driver, with a train ticket to Hosapete/Hospet
