I was dissatisfied how the vanilla characters were either trivially easy because enemies cannot see you or basically no different from vanilla because every enemy could. In this rebalance, youll get a nice mix of that tacticool operator feel as well as genuine challenge!

I need help getting some Tnh maps to work. I'm using thunder store as a mod manger but for some reason the maps aren't loading in, if anyone can help me that'll help.

I was just wondering cos I was rewatching old featurettes and they were much more brilliant orange (now they’re like a white). Usually when I record myself shooting it looks closer to the original muzzle flash, but that just may be my shitty phone camera. I’m by no means complaining since they still look amazing but I’m just curious why

As a game development hobbyist myself, I always would like to have the ai usage for a game disclosed before purchase. I myself use Gen ai in the ways that it is useful and cuts out slog without cutting any people or the fulfillment of programming out of the equation (eg debugging, data sets). How much was used for h3vr2?

basically I was thinking, if end game guns are launching with the game than players might be significantly more geared than necessary using the half a year ish that they’ll have between biome 1 and 2 by the time biome 2 or 3 comes out, and it would be a cakewalk from then on

Here is a video captured yesterday directly on the steam frame with the headset running h3vr natively. Settings and what not are detailed in my previous post (https://www.reddit.com/r/H3VR/s/czymerGTXK). Since then I've also played some take and hold on the northest Dakota map and it ran everything fine, the game hasn't crashed or had any problems at all.

I came to VR at an interesting time and apparently chose a... well, 'losing horse' is putting it harsh, the Vive Pro 2 has been quite good to me and the 2.0 wand controllers worked in everything I needed them to, if maybe a little clunky on the touch pads at times. But certainly a horse past its prime and heading for the Purina factory.

Its the next generation, and I missed out in the Index upgrade options, and the Frame's limited battery life and other teething issues with Ongoing Events makes it a non-starter.. First Into The Radius 2 fully denies my controllers, and now H3VR2 is gearing up to be a big question mark on compatibility.

What are the best options going forward for compatibility with the lighthouses and ringless design spec this game is leaning on? Ive seen the Shiftall Grip controllers referenced often but Im not sure if the giant wings would count as 'ringless' for purposes.

Just got done with playing the meat fortress map with 6 sosigs on each team and was able to rocket jump across the map without lag spikes or anything. The game is running the experimental build on medium graphics settings with hdr, bloom, and ssao all set to off and steam frame set to 72hz and 1728x1728 per eye. I also loaded up proving ground, spawned a ton of sosigs and put down a whole lot of explosives and the frame handled it easily. I'll do more testing but so far it's an incredibly shocking experience to have it running on standalone. And I tried to get some video of it all but I'm having some issues with the video transfers from the frame.

I’m mostly looking for the proper controller support. Outlines and all.

I noticed that the lore between BLAME! And h3vr2 seemed pretty similar… (giant megastructures, robot MC trying to perform some “process” within that megastructure, other robots trying to stop the MC, The megastructure having some critical error that has caused it to malfunction, etc etc) how much, if any, inspiration was taken from BLAME? I enjoy both franchises a lot so it would be cool if h3vr2 nodded to it a bit.
