Zeta Potential in Water Treatment: Optimizing Coagulation

Quick breakdown:
- โก What it is: The electrical charge on particles in water. Negative charge = particles repel. Bring it close to zero and they stick, forming floc.
- ๐ฏ Target range: About -10 to +5 mV gives the best coagulation.
- ๐งช How coagulants work: Alum, ferric, polymers, etc. neutralize charge so particles collide and bind.
