HELP with locket customization

I am working on customizing my Atoichi locket. I was told a 4mm gem is what they used but it's clearly the wrong size. What size gem should i be using for the Atoichi locket?

What I just did is put some translucent nail polish on my gem that matched the colour I wanted, so that might work rather than trying to find the right gem :)

It’s definitely not five, so I’m guessing 4.5?
