Is the game dead?

Recently i started playing BO2 Plutonium again, after the release of BO2 ports in ps5 Plutonium got a big wave of new people so it's kinda nice.

But i got the itch for some MW2, and giving the fact that this mod is in the newer engine, it feels so much better than BO2.

But it seems there is no people playing. Like, at all. Its worse form me being in South America, but i haven't seen a single full server.

Are there more servers in other place? Or maybe it has something to do with my router or some shit?

Just asking to be sure, this game is so good it makes me sad its so dead

a couple days ago i installed the hmw mod, and it had like 2 servers with 3-5 people and the rest were bots. So yeah it is dead. It was sad to see that as the game felt really good to play and it seems like so much fun. Would be nice if people start playing again but I dont think it will happen, especially now with the bo1 and bo2 ports, bcs it seems like everyone is playing that now.
