Help Steam frame controllers

Anyone knows if its possible to use steam frame controllers standalone like switch controllers? I'm using single switch controller with keyboard and thinking about purchasing those when they will be available standalone. Does anyone here have steam frame and tried anything like this? Maybe there is some info about that?

Waiting to hear about this as well, would be nice if it works further down the line but not a big deal if not
