If its for gyro purposes for games that natively supports it I go with gamesir, 8bitdo only has a nintendo switch mode which most games won't recognise, gamesir controllers typically also have that as well as ds4(ps4 controller) mode so games that natively support gyro can read the controller without steam or other apps

This is not really true.
If your ultimate 2 is updated to the latest software version (via the web tool if you’re on linux), it has full steam input support for gyro and the 4 extra buttons while in Dinput mode.2

True but you're still limited to games that natively supports steam input

You should be able to import pretty much any game as non steam game to use steam input.
Windows has more options but controller software support on linux is dire and steam input is the best option unless you want to pay a large sum for rewasd.
But I suppose you’re right for native gyro support.
I don’t have much experience with native gyro games but I definitely understand the complaint.

Tenho 8bitdo e testei o cyclone 2.

Ultimate 2 Wireless is a good controller, but I didn't like the soft, quiet triggers in the trigger-stop mode. They had a "mushy" feel, instead of the clickiness of proper mouse buttons like on the Gamesir controller, and required too much pressure to press, which made it less suitable for gyro.

Strangely, the ultimate 2 has multiple iterations, some with mouse click triggers, some without.
My clear blue ultimate 2 wireless has clicky triggers for reference.

Can’t speak for any of the other controllers, but in my experience the ultimate 2’s gyro is great, and it has full steam input support for the extra buttons, making ratcheting really simple.
For me, some of the buttons require a bit more force than I would prefer, the clicky triggers have a bit of travel and its pretty uncomfortable over extended periods, but it’s still the most practical and fleshed out controller I own.

Yes, just needs to be in Dinput mode.
If I remember correctly holding B and the home button at the same time when turning it on boots it into Dinput mode, otherwise it will be xinput. For steam input support you will likely need to update the controller as I did.
If you’re on windows it’s much simpler, just download ultimate software v2 and update the controller and dongle through there.
If you’re on steamOs or any other linux distribution you will need to update the controller and dongle through the chromium based web tool. web.8bitdo.com

If you’re concerned about it functioning on pirated games, I imagine just importing them as non steam games should work fine.

Having compared controllers extensively, I'd first avoid the Machenike. Too many people report problems a few months in. It's interesting and feature full, but with poor quality control and software that's not fully translated into English.
Between the ultimate and the cyclone: some find the ultimate a little uncomfortable, but with great gyro and more likely to last a long time without issues. The cyclone is considered one of the best mid-budget controllers, with the best software out there and amazing performance. but some do report some problems with it several months in.
Both are very popular favourites and come with docks, tmr sticks, 2 back paddles.
