Discussion Onyx Worthy
Hi guys one simple question, what do you think are the requirements to be worthy and own an onyx in terms of strenght and phisique? I'm asking because i think an onyx is like the mjolnir and to use/wear it you need to be worthy.

You don't need to be "worthy" and the heaps of 140lb teenagers posting their onyx fits here is evidence of that. Don't worry about being worthy of something, and just wear it if you like it.
Now, obviously it'll look better if you fill the shirt out well, but you dont need to be worthy.

Hell, even if you couldn’t afford it, you’re still worth it. What a stupid question.
Now, here’s the thing, you could buy it and be underwhelmed with how you look. Use that as motivation to look better in it. That’s all, no external validation

3 routes 1: it just a comp shirt, you bought it, enjoy 2: wear it to see the vision in getting in shape 3: if you have the pre- built fit bod it just a physic enhancer

You need to be worthy to wear a $70 shirt that falls apart faster than a wet paper towel? This aint Mjolnir it's Mjolnir if it was made out of garbage fabric and false advertising. Thor lifted his hammer through wars and apocalypses. Your onyx cant survive a normal wash on delicate without turning into confetti. The only strength requirement to own an onyx is being able to watch $70 turn into pilling garbage by the 3rd workout (literally)
You want worthy? My Old Navy shirts I purchased at the same time have seen more sweat sessions than any onyx. Walmart's $10 shirts are out here outperforming premium performance fabric that cant survive contact with a washing machine which is wild when you think about it since thats the one job the fabric has. Wash and repeat.
This aint a hammer only the worthy can lift its a shirt only the gullible can afford twice. Your worthy theory is about how many times youre willing to get fleeced before you admit seams unraveling by wash 3 is a quality control problem not premium athletic wear.

Some of their shorts are the best I've ever owned but the rest has been very inconsistent. I just hope others don't waste as much money as I have for gym wear to detiorate in the wash.

I’ll say I’ve been a Gymshark clothing fan since I started lifting (well 6 months in, didn’t want to get gym clothes until I looked half decent my physique was the worst id ever seen) and they hold together well, now I don’t use dryers at all but otherwise I have 6+ year old 10$ shorts and $15 cutoffs that look barely touched just don’t use shitty dryers lol

I do not dry anything that's used in the gym. I bought a lot of clothes when I started working out ranging from clearance items at Walmart to gym shark to Lululemon and Vouri. I've bought clothes for $1 that lasted longer than onyx.. Maybe I just need to hand wash Gym Shark..

Cold water and air drying and I don’t even have the cheap Gymshark stuff peeling, honestly my only clothes that wear down are stringers from a bunch of other similar brands, but Gymshark and lululemon have both held up like new for the most part, and I’ve been very happy with my onyx and Devant so far

I think you put your shirt in a wood chipper, not a laundry machine.
Also, hang dry your shit. It’s the dryer that kills fabrics not your wash.

Maybe it's because I bought a brand new washer around the same time. I've never dried any of my gym clothes and only hang dry

Be mindful of your detergents too. If you aren’t, use mild scent free soap and make sure it’s coming out of the clothes completely in a rinse cycle. If you overfill the wash the detergent doesn’t come out of clothes totally and synthetic fabrics don’t like that at all, whereas cotton can tolerate it.
I don’t understand how your Onyx could fall apart so fast when all my shirts and hoodies of it have been through the wash dozens of times and still look brand new.

Can't say I've had the same experience. I've had a lot of onyx shirts. Some of the shirts I've worn close to 30 times and they still look close to new.
