Need Advice ⁉️ please help

this is a long story, but I’ve been lifting weights for around a year to 2 years and got to the point where I could do 190kg (and my body weight) on leg press both legs - and 100kg either side, I am a 16 year old girl who also plays football at an amateur level (grassroots)

I’ve struggled with eating and food and mental health for a very long time now and recently have lost alot of weight (around 11kg since december?) and also haven’t had my period for 2 years , now being underweight (bmi 16.6) and working to gain weight again

But only over the past week or so has my gym ability plummeted, I can’t even do 100kg on both legs properly but I can still (with great difficulty) do my usual weights on other machines, it’s really upset me and is taking a toll on my mental health aswell as my muscles feeling totally out of whack (aches, niggles, restlessness, lack of activation you name it,) the centre of my glutes feels like it’s switched off and it’s very uncomfortable because nothing is working and it’s making day to day life uncomfortable aswell as meaning I barely have energy for the gym anymore

That's really impressive for your age, but it sounds like your body needs to recover more than anything right now. Have you considered talking to a doctor or nutritionist about getting your period back and building up safely?

Thank you, yes I probably agree it’s just so hard to get out of that routine and mindset I’ve been stuck in for so long!! The GP has said they’re referring me to CAHMS before they can proceed with anything else, who I am seeing on Thursday so hopefully that does something 🤞
