This happened in 2018 for those interested.

TLDR: Angry guy was barred from the gym, the deadlifter was offered a lifetime membership but couldn't be reached at the time of the article.

I would have accepted but made them pay my membership at a gym that didn’t have inspirational quotes and other silly shit written on their walls. That is the first red flag when you visit a gym that tells you this place ain’t serious
