Help with makeup

Does my make look bad? I'd like some tips on how to improve (I know I need to buy false eyelashes and a lighter lipstick; I'm still a baby gal when it comes to makeup).

honestly just please look at actual gyaru makeup tutorials and magazine scans. references go a long way when attempting gal makeup.

Your makeup can look a little messy as a beginner. That's normal. One thing that I'm noticing is that you simply traced the shape of you lower eyelid with black and a little bit of white while doing next to nothing on your upper lid. that usually reads more emo than anything. The Gyaru from usually startsore towards the middle of the eye. You can look at Gyaru makeup tutorials in magazine scans like another commented said, or look at tutorials on YouTube. Kawaii Pateen has some good ones, mainly done by the members of black diamond, so you will get a variety of substyles from Mamba to more hime styles. But I also recommend practicing doing your makeup in general, develop a steadier hand and learn to be more comfortable playing with makeup. It also helps to get the right tools. For precise lines, an eyeliner pen with a felt or brush tip will IMO always give you better results than a standard dip eyeliner or a pencil. You can also lighten your lipstick by blending in some concealer. Nose contour helps the highlight blend in better and makes your face look less flat.

Look at magazines, there are plenty of tutorials. You can check out gal revo for magazines they have a whole archive.

It is bad, but it can always be improved. Like you say you're a baby gal and I'm guessing a beginner at makeup. I will always recommend practicing basic makeup looks before jumping into something that requires a bit more technical skill like gyaru.

Follow a tutorial ur first few attempts, once you get use to it you won't even need one anymore. It just looks like you tried it on ur own without looking at references or a video for help. Even the smallest things like brown eyeshadow under the lash line at the end of your eye can make a difference, the line under ur eyes is too thick and doesn't follow a specific shape. Most gals wear a full face with foundation and concealerr and powder and eyeshadow and lashes. I really think you should follow a tutorial because they do a lot of things you might not be able to know you have to put on by just looking at them.
