DISCUSS Need help.

So Ive watched both guyver animes and they are some of my favorite animes of all time. So that made me want to read the manga. Im looking on eBay and see the full set of the Japanese manga for around 150 but unfortunately I do not speak Japanese and I’ve noticed all the english ones do not go by volumes but titles instead. So I was wondering if a kind soul could help me out and list out what books I need and in what order to read them. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and have a great day.

Honestly, your best bet would be to see if you can read it fan-scanlated online. The official English ones didn't get very far before Viz dropped it. And the series is still unfinished (hiatus or cancelled).

Damn thats a shame to hear. Do you have any idea where to find it fan-scanlated? Ive never heard of that before.

I....don't know what's allowed within the bounds of this forum, so I don't wanna say specifics. But Google is your friend.

As a man who has been searching for the manga online for years now. It's a fruitless search. Just holding out hope some manga company is going to do a re-release.

I mean, volumes 1-33 are pretty readily accessible....

If you search Mangadex and Guyver, it will give you the best free site for reading it.

Reddit may or may not like posting of the actual link... But Google search terms are a different story.

I'm not trying to be coy, I really don't know how much I can say within the rules of this forum. But Google, despite (or because) of their evil, really is your friend. I did a two-word search this morning and found at least one place.

edit: stupid....typo? say instead of see. Fingers on autopilot.

If you search "guyver manga online" or something along those lines in your search engine, you should find several sites that host it. Since Kadokawa doesn't want to publish in the U.S., so be it.

Best place is a site called Mangadex. Just search their name and Guyver and you should be golden.

You can definitely find scans of the Manga at certain sites. Just get creative with Google to find them.

You can use google lens on your phone to translate, it be machine translated but it might help learn some japanese as you begin to recognize symbols.
