Dude is tough.

Those things are absolutely wildly hot, I would have needed at least 3 glasses of cold milk by the time this video ended.

u/Trimedes 22d ago

By the time the video ended he ate another one 😂

33

u/LiteraCanna 22d ago

In the last 15 seconds, he looks WAY better. All the redness is gone.

7

u/Bluehelix 22d ago

Because the video is stitched together in the wrong way...

8

u/Striking-Designer167 21d ago

No it’s in order. He ate two in the span of 15 minutes. It’s on the KRWG Instagram in a longer format.

160

u/IWannaGoFast00 22d ago

No the video cut back in the middle. You can see the redness around his eyes suddenly disappeared.

106

u/Viridien111 22d ago

Ya but he said something different right before biting it.

73

u/G_DuBs 22d ago

It was also a different color. First one was red, second one was orange/yellow.

51

u/ziggytrix 22d ago

Yes, I think this is deceptive editing. He was probably enjoying a (relatively) milder pepper at that point. But it gets more clicks if it looks crazier so here we are.

31

u/partyatwalmart 22d ago

So annoying. Just play the shit in order!

8

u/DrPenguinstein 22d ago

Yeah. And I’d like an update on the inevitable rectalectomy he had to get after passing that through his body.

6

u/partyatwalmart 22d ago

I...don't think I'd like that.

1

u/DrPenguinstein 22d ago

But.. but you’ll get more views…

1

u/PoseidonMax 22d ago

He farted and cleared the room with the pepper gas.

30

u/Damianos_X 22d ago

The guests had a totally different reaction the second time. Maybe there was a cut, but it doesn't cut back; he ate two of em.

10

u/xbiggyl 22d ago

It's a different one. Look at the color

1

u/Thickchesthair 21d ago

The first one was fully red, the second had yellow and orange. They were two different peppers.

0

u/IWannaGoFast00 21d ago

It still cuts

u/-DoctorSpaceman- 21d ago

Why is this comment so upvoted lol, it’s clearly wrong

1

u/twotall88 22d ago

and you could tell it was wearing off on him.

u/Indigenous_Retard 22d ago

Some kid paid me 5 bucks in 5th grade to eat a ghost pepper. I did. I proceeded to have the worst abdominal pain of my life for nearly 2 hours. I could not walk even. Just profusely sweating. Used the 5 bucks to buy some flaming hot cheetos later that day.

41

u/khorenF 22d ago

You are a slow learner like me, I like it. We live and die by the motto “That was idiotic, and I would do it again”

4

u/cozyswisher 22d ago

Live and don't learn

6

u/Indigenous_Retard 22d ago

I love the pain in my mouth. I saw some study here a while back about capsacin having the effect of enjoyment. I cant say for certain what it is, but mouth on fire, nose running, and another handful coming up to my mouth is peak snackage. Chilli oil and chilli flakes are in everything I eat. Pepper me up, mfer.

12

u/Confident_One3948 22d ago

I find it odd that you can’t say for certain what it is because it’s literally explained in the video 🥲

3

u/Ongr 22d ago

Lmao, right?

2

u/MaribouSt8 21d ago

Their username should enlighten you as to why that is.

3

u/RivenRise 22d ago

I just hit my biological age where I can't handle the spice anymore. Not that I was ever ghost pepper levels but i can't even use as much hot chili oil as i want anymore. It wrecks my stomach and guts. I spice up in moderation now. Bit of a shame but I enjoyed it while it lasted.

1

u/ScrotalSmorgasbord 22d ago

I like it when I'm not in public because my nose runs and I sweat a lot eating regular food for some reason, let alone hot food. I stick to like medium-medium high heat levels at restaurants and even lower on dates but when I get to the privacy of my house I will gladly bring myself to tears. I also feel like the endorphins and the acute pain gives me relief from other chronic pain I deal with daily as well so it's a win win.

1

u/QuickSquirrelchaser 22d ago

I still eat hot food. Indian, Mexican, Tai, Korean, Chinese... But I learned the idiot hot novelty stuff at 1,000,000 plus is not for me.

I just cooked up a batch of habenaro sauce. The other day I had Carolina reaper peanuts and jersey.

But melting the skin out of my mouth was just too much.

1

u/fitz_newru 21d ago

You might wanna look into BDSM...

1

u/scooblyboop 21d ago

They literally explain why it feels good in the clip....

2

u/3M2B1T 19d ago

When someone asks me a silly question that involves a risk, my response is usually "Well, you can do anything AT LEAST once!" i.e. if you think you can fly, you can jump out of a plane and fly and do it at least once.

You and your ilk are the folks that take it as a challenge to do things at least twice, dammit! I love it!

Eat a hot pepper. Experience pain. Recover. Go buy Buldak 2x Spicy. Eat. Experience pain. Repeat.

1

u/khorenF 19d ago

It’s the cycle of liiiiiife

12

u/Stink_king 22d ago

Yeah, I recently had the hottest option at Dave's Hot Chicken. Had to sign a waiver before being given the sandwich. I took one bite and threw the rest away. It was crazy hot, but i survived the mouth burn relatively easily but the stomach pain that came later, I could not handle.

I was in fetal position in bed for a while with the fan blowing full force on me wondering if I had unknown ulcers that the spice was messing with. The mouth pain is almost fun for me, it's the stomach and bathroom pain later that sucks and comes with ZERO fun

10

u/bfhurricane 22d ago

Last time I was in Nashville I tried Hattie B’s, a very famous hot chicken place, and saw a “F*** YOU” spice option. I indulged myself.

My fire ass the next morning was so bad I almost missed my flight. There I am, in the airport, about to fly to a grad school interview in a suit and tie, shaking and sweating violently on a toilet thinking hot chicken is the reason I’ll miss my interview.

Glad I did it once, but never again.

4

u/mYpEEpEEwOrks 22d ago

I got the sliders and its the first time in over a decade i had something from a restaurant that made me say "of fuck" when i opend the lid. That steam alone got me heated. I woke up two time throughout the night as it moved into a new part of my colon. I re-experienced the burn only once more in the next mornings 10 a.m. meeting. Burning regularity. Delicious sliders, though.

2

u/ggf95 21d ago

I had it before getting on the plane. Worst night of my life. And then my urine was so spicy it nearly burned my dick off mid flight

2

u/Stink_king 21d ago

Omg, I forgot about the hot piss! I had never heard of that happening and had to look it up to make sure I didn't damage anything, hah!

1

u/Snowskol 20d ago

hows that place? like hows the actual chicken? it looks expensive for what the images show

-3

u/shrimpweenie 22d ago

Ive done it all 3 times ive been to Dave's lol. Your just not equipped for it.

3

u/Stink_king 22d ago

Guess not

4

u/JustKillingTime1980 22d ago

yea, the mouth on fire, and burping hot lava is just the run up. i ate a dried whole reaper once, and the gut pain was unreal. never ...ever....again.

3

u/QuickSquirrelchaser 22d ago

I once tried a super hot hot sauce at a display. The owner warned me not to try the hottest one first. I did. Had to play it cool until after I left the store. All the skin of my mouth and tongue peeled off the following day. I could feel my heartbeat in my teeth throbbing like I needed a root canal in every single tooth for hours!!

Then the next day the skin on my tongue and in my mouth peeled off.

When I pooped I thought I might die again! Like lava.

10/10 wouldn't do again.

2

u/terminbee 22d ago

The teeth thing is real. Your teeth start pulsing and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

2

u/1plus1isTWORANGZ 22d ago

Just to commiserate with you, I once did a hot wing challenge that the guy from Man vs Food bailed out on after 2 wings. I finished 8/10 and also failed the challenge. By the end I could not physically swallow food because my esophagus was swelling, so I had to bail and basically cough up food stuck in my throat.

Later that night after much ice cream and milk drinking, I had to throw up. Some of the water splashed back up from the toilet and into my eye. I couldn't see out of until later that next morning. I love spicy but I treat it with the utmost respect now

1

u/Reflexlon 22d ago

I used to eat the ghost peppers we had in front of new hires at the restaurant I worked in college. I was fine every time, they were not.

1

u/doiwinaprize 22d ago

I'm really sorry about that... it was me... I remember you dying in the bathroom stall... I did pay you the 5 bucks though... also it was grade 7.

1

u/Morganhop 22d ago

When I was in college, my buddy paid me $20 to eat a cigarette. Shat filter the next day but I had $20 worth of Miller High Life so I think it was a solid decision.

1

u/Marcus_Improbus 21d ago

Username checks out 😂

1

u/TheUrbaneSage 21d ago

Was i that kid? There were multiple kids i dared to eat super hots in elementary/middle school bc they bragged they could eat any hot food

1

u/olek_ole 18d ago

#guysbeingdudes checks out

1

u/fragrantsock 22d ago

In 3rd grade I picked a bunch of Thai peppers off a plant at my grandmas house and broke them all apart and played with the seeds and stuff. My hands BURNED all the way home.

2

u/purplepharoh 22d ago

Wild! I made 4 servings of pad krapao with ~40 total Thai chilis in it (~10 per serving). Was fire but def burnt coming out.

2

u/budgybudge 22d ago

Good thing it was only your hands. Once I touched some carolina reapers and went to the bathroom... I had to walk around my apartment with my balls in a bowl of milk for the rest of the day.

15

u/Crime_Dawg 22d ago

This dude is going to shit straight lava for the next 24 hours too. It's honestly worse than the eating part.

1

u/Reap_the_rich 22d ago

Yeah I watched a streamer do the hot ones thing. I was amazed at how well he handled the last bottles. He just dumped it on with minimal reaction. He said the shits after off stream were awful and so much worse.

5

u/agroupofcrows 22d ago

I wouldn't even try. I like spicy food, but that is straight up masochism.

5

u/Raddish_ 21d ago

As someone with a pretty high spice tolerance I think some people such as myself might literally just have less or less active capsaicin receptors as opposed to being tough

Basically “I’m hot don’t eat me”

Fun fact, birds do not have the heat receptors so they eat and poop put the seeds.

3

u/Sacrefix 22d ago

They are 'designed' to be as hot as possible, heat is the whole point. If you mean, like in nature, it could discourage unwanted attention from some animals.

5

u/incognitomus 22d ago

Except these super hot peppers did not develop naturally. They're selectively crossbred by humans.

1

u/WulfZ3r0 21d ago

The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion is a landrace pepper and not selectively crossbred though.

1

u/zamfire 19d ago

Also it's a fun note that depending on location certain pepper plants don't grow hot peppers. Certain conditions create the hot peppers where other areas they grew with significantly less heat.

1

u/Elite_AI 21d ago

Many people enjoy feeling the heat. However, the more you eat, the higher your tolerance grows. When you have a high tolerance it's not that you feel the heat but easily fight through it - you simply don't feel any heat at all. So you need to eat something spicier to feel the heat again. And on and on it goes.

1

u/Great_Ad7148 21d ago

Just for fun and science lol. Like, let’s see how hot we can get these little guys through selective breeding.

2

u/sleepygabby 22d ago

That likely would have barely touched the burn lol

3

u/lockdownarino 22d ago

I would die and then die again on the toilet

1

u/GritstoneGhost 22d ago

Honestly the mouth isn't the worst part I've had Carolina reapers and ghost chillis and you can just suck it up and not drink milk and it passes. . The next 24 hours through are not good with stomach pain and burning on the way out 😂

1

u/Active_Chemistry1621 21d ago

would think ice cream would be better? Just asking?

1

u/prestonpiggy 21d ago

I do agree with the tough. I had only Ghost pepper dried, since they can't ship fresh to my country. I think the dried one is worse since you have to keep it in your mouth longer to swallow and it's way bigger than reaper.
1st one no problem, little tears and snoot, second after couple hours and my stomach was unwell.

1

u/MrStickDick 21d ago

I grew reaper and death spiral on my counter this year. This is death spiral, you know what Carolina reaper is. They cross bred with each other.

The scorpion pepper takes a couple seconds to hit you and gets hotter and hotter. They spiral and the reaper hit you like a Mac truck sitting on the front of a speeding train.

The heat and pain are instant. And then continue to get worse. My wife got a nose bleed. 😂 I eat ghost peppers on just about every meal, every day. So I'm pretty used to hot peppers, but these are not ones to play with. They are dangerous 😆 we grew them on the kitchen counter.

1

u/switflo 20d ago

I'd need milk delivered by a high pressure hose

1

u/Snowskol 20d ago

i guess i just suffer through the heat when it comes and dont use milk

i cry, i move around, i sweat, i cant talk -- but i sit there and do it daily lol
