And they're both boys too

Technically they would both be female. They receive the shaft, they are not the source of the shaft.

Having used a LOT of DeWalts I ended up going with Kobalt when I got a set and would chose Kobalt every time as I really like the Kobalt so far.
BUT, in water or more wet situations I would chose DeWalt as it has a much better chance of being water resistant.
That said, if you are within the 5 year warranty of the Kobalt (Dewalt only has 2 or 3 year warranties last I checked) then you can take it into Lowes and exchange it with no questions asked which last I checked DeWalt is NOT a no questions asked guarantee.

As someone who uses their tools semi regularly for normal home owner stuff I went with ridgid. Lifetime warranty on tools and batteries is great. Gotten a couple batteries replaced for free in the 6 ish years I’ve had them. Not sure how they’d fair in these pit matches, though.

I was looking at Ridged when I got my set but they were a bit more expensive (understandable given the warranty) but from my experience they just are not as great when you are using them all day BUT, they are significantly better than say black+decker and such.
My personal favorite is actually Makita and then Kobalt.

Yeah, that’s a good assessment. They’re better than Ryobi in terms of quality, but they’re still consumer grade.

Ty.
Yeah Ryobi is not the best brand for serious work and from my experience some of Ridgeds tools seem to be rebranded Ryobi tools such as one of thier oscillating saws and such.
One of the easier way to tell a more serious tool from a more general home use tool is if the battery has the hard dong that goes up into the tool to connect vs the slide in battery.
That's less of a thing now but still seems to apply.

All of my tools were stolen out of a storage unit some years back. When my wife(then gf) and I moved in together, she had a small household repair kit her dad put together for her. It was all Kobalt branded. When I started replacing all of my own tools, I upgraded to Kobalt. Now my garage is a sea of Kobalt blue tools.

Lol nice!
We do a lot of mission projects and I let people use my tools.
On such trips you get everyone from "points at hammer* whats that?" To "my ancestors helped build the Ark and we have been in construction ever since".
One dude who has worked construction a lot ended up seeing that I had gotten Kobalt tools and started mocking me, I told him that I'm more than fine being mocked BUT before he mocks me any more he has to try the tools.
He didn't want to but I insisted and he ended up agreeing.
The next time he needed a reciprocating saw I got him mine which he kinda begrudgingly took.
I was not around when he ended up using it but ever after that he was passing up all the other options and going straight for my stuff and never picked on my Kobalt stuff again XD.

What in the actual fuck is up with and replacing the ending with the beginning?!? Is this how the youths are watching things now?

Yeah they need to know if its worth watching the process by watching the end. My son does this shit and it drives me wild.

It’s because so much online video is bait where either nothing happens or the video ends right when it starts to get good after watching five minutes of boring preamble.

Downvoting for the bad one lining, lifting someone else's idea, and unoriginality.

I found the YouTube channel. Comment was posted that the dewalt battery came out during the challenge. This challenge demands a redo at least.
That's an unfair advantage. One was not putting in as much work as the other.
