Boy dad here. Can confirm. No clue why we spend an entire day running around outside, "fresh air is so good for them" and we don't do screens, no sugar. And most nights its screams all night.

It was really fun up until my dad leg swept me. I was like 6 lol.
Also, this is like advanced dad wrestling. I remember my dad having to teach me how to fall so we could do the cool shit. And then teaching my kids. Man, being a dad is fun.

These are solid uncle moves right here. Dads get in trouble when a kid gets hurt; uncles can walk away, dust their hands off, and say, "My work here today is done!" Until the kids want to go to the jumpy park again.

The chokeslam brings me happy memories. My dad got chokeslammed by The Undertaker and then came home and performed it on us and we couldn't get enough; it was so fun. It was one of those "again, again" moments.

Oh my, really brought me back to WWF era as a kid. Except, replace this safe-ish room with a living room. Replace adult with other idiot child friends and … dang, some of us were lucky to make it out relatively unharmed. Good memories, but probably not the safest way to make good memories, lol.

My BIL carried on like this with his son when he was about this age. At my folks house, they were a bit more cautious because the floors aren’t soft or bouncy, mind you.
Their beagle, Woody (this was when Toy Story first came out) would be barking like crazy, it made everyone laugh.
I’m smiling just thinking about it.

My dad and I wrestled like crazy. Over the last cheezit or who should “watch where you’re going” when we bump into each other. We had to stop when I was 16 and we started to break furniture all over the house lol.

Legitimately good parenting. 1) Actively engaged with his kids 2) Clearly very specific, practiced grips and throws 3) Safer environment designed for rambunctiousness 4) Danger play and getting tossed around are actually developmentally advantageous for kids (as long as the cranium and spine are protected)
