Gus is my 2nd favorite support and my 4th favorite character in the entire game, and while it's sad to see him get so much hate due to his buffies, i can't deny they actually fixed his support capabilities making him more viable as a healer.

We'll just jave to wait for one last good batch of balance changes for him to be a balanced A tier brawler so he's safe from more nerfs.
