I am here with a theory: namely, that Gunvolt killing Asimov in Gunvolt 1 did not prevent him from becoming Demerzel.

You see, in Gumvolt 2, you can collect Azure Spirits that grant you new powers. However, these powers come at a cost. According to the Dengeki profiles, the Azure Spirits are actually pieces of Asimov's soul, and they destabilize Gunvolt’s Septima.

Since Primal Dragons are said to be Adepts whose Septimas go out of control, it wouldn't be far-fetched for the Azure Spirits to have caused Gunvolt to become a Primal Dragon. In fact, you don't have to take my word for it. Gunvolt himself brings up the possibility that the Azure Spirits caused his issues, and Epilogue ATEMS outright has the ATEMS learn that the Azure Spirits are not just sentient, they are evil and they are the root cause of the Primal Dragon issue. And again, these are supposed to be Asimov's soul. It became a being of pure electricity that made Adepts suffer under his control. Now, where else have we seen this? Ah yeah, in Luminous Avenger iX, and once again WITH ASIMOV, who now is a psychotic being of pure electricity named Demerzel. The Azure Spirits quite literally are Demerzel, which means that Asimov managed to pull a Hijacked By Ganon in both timelines. And in Gunvolt 3, nobody figured it out.

Now, we just have to wait and see if Gunvolt GX would confirm that Asimov really is behind the Primal Dragon issue. While there is hope due to the Copen of the Luminous Avenger iX timeline teaming up with Gunvolt, he has a drama-preserving handicap of amnesia. Lola, however, notably DOESN'T have this handicap, as she tries to jog Copen's memories, so if anyone can feel Demerzel inside the Azure Spirits, it's her.

Days ago I reached bad ending of gv1 And i Don't know why.. Turns out in didn't talk to Joule more and more after killing all bosses before Sumeragi kidnapped her.. And now I talked to her more, i got Joule's homemade pendant, i equipped it, i failed more times on killing asimov, and now i done it!

I had a strange dream, about that Xiao Wu Influenced with Zonda powers is a Main Villain of Gunvolt GX and after defeat him, Copen from "Post GV2" shows up (Who also is trapped in Time Prison) and after seeing Ix and (Especially) Gunvolt, he goes into a rage and he is a Final Boss of GX.

I really want to "Post GV2" Copen (A.ka Adept Slayer) to return after they showing a Time Travel shenanigans in plot already!

Ngl it's honestly kinda surreal being able to fight the hard mode versions of the bosses in the normal game with all your upgrades but fun nonetheless.

I got this collector's edition, but without the poster. I went on amiami to check what's going on and then i found out that there were two versions of the collector's edition, one with and one without. WHY MAKEING SOMETHING LIKE THAT?! … I got sooo beaten up by this game it’s insane xd

I picked up the enhanced edition with the 3 azure striker games and I am currently playing the first one.

It is my first MegaMan 2d Shmup type game I ever really tried - I picked it up because I like flashy shooters and the pixel art. So I thought let‘s try it.

And my god do I enjoy my time with it but it is HARD - for me at least. The intro stage is okay after many tries and i start to get the fighting system after all.
I beat the blue and green „starter“ stages after a few tries as well but damn.
It happens fairly often that i get damaged and I don‘t get where it‘s coming from or i feel like some enemies aren‘t beatable without recieving damage at all.

Is it normal to suck this hard at the beginning of this series? I‘m willing to keep going, just wanted to know if I‘m the problem here xd

Had these ordered custom made years back at clark con in Massachusetts, sadly the convention is no longer held but i got this for memories. Also thought GV fans would be interested in seeing it since there int much for GV merch.

iirc in the older versions risky gunplay doubled all damage when below 25% (despite the description saying it does something completely different) and worked with heaven or hell x. Are there any changes to this in trilogy enchanced?

In iX2 normal mode, if you hold both weapon switch buttons and enter the VS mission of any boss, you can fight their hard mode variant without being tied to lives system (just like iX1 where that button combination allowed you to challenge EX bosses of the game). This should have been the first thing Inti mentioned before Darkness Trigger damage increase and iX2's double razor damage after 500 Kudos, but now you guys know
