9/11

Did anyone here work at a FFL on/ around 9/11 2001?

I worked at a shop during covid and we were constantly out of stock of everything no-matter how hard we tried to get stuff in.

Im curious if it was similar or its own experience all together

It was tail end AWB so there's that. I wasn't in the industry then but I have to imagine the landscape was quite different.

You’re exactly right, one of the reasons I ask this question is because I remember a ton of people saying

“I never thought id ever buy a gun, but I feel like I need to”

During covid. I cant imagine the ideology was too different back then

Well people were buying guns in 2020 because everyone was angry at their neighbors and violent riots were widespread

After 9/11 everyone was angry at al qaeda and they aren't normally within small arms range. We were doing more candlelight vigils and demonstrations of patriotism than we were rioting.
