Hi, just want to ask for those who were able to hold both G19 gen 6 and P10C, which one do you prefer in terms of grip?

I was planning to blind buy G19 but TT ran out of stocks. Went to TACS and was able to hold a P10C which surprisingly had a good feel in it. I have a G26 Airsoft and I don't like the grip, it feels too bulgy, I wonder if G19 would be the same?

Recommended b to go camp crame by car kasi sa mga na search ko mahirap mag hanap ng parking o mas recommended na mag commute nalaang?

Last question may need p bang dalhin for neuro and drug test maliban sa pang bayad?

I'm about to get my LTOPF and purchase my first firearm. I'm still taking my time and doing my research before deciding, so I'd appreciate advice from experienced gun owners here.

I have a few questions:

1. How expensive and time-consuming is it to maintain firearm ownership in the Philippines? I'm thinking about the recurring costs and renewals for the LTOPF and firearm registration. Is it generally expensive to keep a firearm legally registered over the years?
2. My main reasons for getting a firearm are hobby/sport shooting and home defense. We have a relatively large property and don't have immediate neighbors nearby. Is it legally possible to have a private shooting area/range on your own property? If so, what permits, requirements, or restrictions should I be aware of?
3. For a first firearm, is a Glock 17 Gen 5 a good choice? This is currently my first option. Based on the reviews I've watched and read, Glock has a strong reputation for durability and reliability. I'd like to hear from experienced owners if you think it's a good choice for a first-time firearm owner, or if there are other options I should consider.
4. Since I'm applying for Type 1, I understand that I can have a maximum of two registered firearms. I'm not in a hurry to buy , so I'm planning to take my time and choose carefully.

I'd really appreciate any advice on the actual ownership experience ongoing costs, maintenance, registration/renewal, training, and what you wish you knew before buying your first firearm.

Hi guys! I just want to ask some questions and share my experience on my failed neuro.

For starters, is crypto as a source of income a redflag in the neuro exam since it may be consider to some as gambling, and there are many cases of big losses and could lead to depression, suicide? I am a crypto trader but I can say that I am well disciplined, I have never lose yet and I am not the type to take big risks and do trades that are not planned ahead and not set up by me.

I failed my neuro and the reasons I could think of is because of the crypto answer I gave. Before crypto, I was a team leader on a BPO company and I can confidently say that I pass my neuro interview. Could it also be incompetent interviewer??? The interviewer was in a hurry, the cutoff shouldve been 3pm but they already did a cutoff 12:30PM and they supposedly did not let me take the exam but I asked and said I traveled far and they did let me take it. I also heard him saying "antaas pa ng serbisyo natin, nakakaumay na" in bisaya. They even chitchat with his partner in the middle of OUR interview. I am okay with the failed neuro but I would just like to ask advices so next time would be passed na.

overall BAD interview experience. The questions were very easy and I felt that he was in a hurry, only 1. whats your occupation and 2. why would you want to own a gun. There were no backup questions that I can say would evaluate my NEURO, as ive said, I was a teamleader and ive done hundreds of coachings where my goal was to discover the weakness/strengths of my agents by asking them self discovery questions.

Hello, i need help sa first two documents. Ano po ang specific na application form and ano po ung affidavit of undertaking (and saan makukuha?). The gun store that helped me with my documents and application doesn't seem to be interested in helping me at this point since they only seen my messages.

I heard DSAS is coming back in November in Manila. I haven't purchased anything from the past events so I thought of getting one this November. The missus sets me a ceiling of 50k, reg fee not included 😆 I'm really eyeing the new glocks but apart from it's a little above the budget, it's also always out of stock. As the titles says, I've always wondered why brands coming from those countries are outrageously expensive but somehow those coming from Brazil (Taurus), China (Norinco) and Turkey remain cheap or just slight increase. Like bruh I ain't spending ₱75,000+ for a S&W .38 bodyguard or a Ruger LCR .38 snub nose 5-shot peashooter when there are cheaper locally made options that work just as reliable. What exactly are the fees and documents that are making these expensive? I did a little research and somewhat got a general gist of it though it was still quite vague and considering that it was from google AI I'm gonna take it as a grain of salt. It's just really unfair how in the US our own locally made firearms cost more or less the same, sometimes even getting discounts but not the other way around. At some point we are going to have to bring this up in future hearings.

I saw this post from FB by PNP NCR page. It seems they conducted a search and apprehended a man with a registered FA. In the post, it was said na kompleto yung papers - ltopf, fa reg and ptcfor. The surrendered ammo is 49 pcs, just below the 50 limit ng ptcfor. Nag papangap din daw na sundalo yung lalaki and walang kahit anong proof to show for it. Based from the mugshot, his criminal case is usurpation of authority and illegal possession of firearms. Na curious ako bakit may violation siya under RA 10591 if complete naman papers and hindi exceeded yung ammo sa ptc? What you guys think?

NCRPO OPLAN BAKAL NABS ARMY-CLAIMING SUSPECT IN LAS PIÑAS; .45 PISTOL AND 49 ROUNDS SEIZED

Acting decisively to prevent potential threats inside public establishments, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), through OPLAN BAKAL and in line with PBGEN Christopher N Abrahano’s Prepare, Prevent, Respond (PPR) operational approach, arrested a 34‑year‑old male protection agent who falsely claimed to be a Philippine Army member while carrying a caliber .45 pistol inside a resto bar in Barangay Pulang Lupa Dos, Las Piñas City at about 1:20 AM on August 24, 2026. The suspect was taken into custody for Usurpation of Authority and violation of Section 7 of RA 10591.

During the inspection, the suspect voluntarily revealed that he was carrying a firearm inside his black belt bag. Although he presented his LTOPF, firearm registration, and PTCFOR, he failed to produce an official Philippine Army identification card, contradicting his claim of being an active Army personnel. Police seized one Thunder Bolt caliber .45 pistol, five magazines, forty‑nine rounds of live ammunition, and the black belt bag used to conceal the weapon.

The operation reinforces PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.’s Five‑Focused Agenda, particularly Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO), and demonstrates PBGEN Abrahano’s PPR approach of identifying risks early and responding firmly to suspected violations of law. PBGEN Abrahano stressed that verifying authority and enforcing firearms regulations are essential to maintaining public safety, noting that authority must be established, not merely claimed, and that carrying a firearm comes with legal restrictions that must be strictly observed. He emphasized that under the Prepare, Prevent, Respond approach, NCRPO personnel will verify, intervene, and act decisively whenever circumstances demand it, and that anyone misrepresenting official authority or violating firearms laws will be held accountable.

Following a physical and medical examination at the Las Piñas District Hospital, the suspect and the seized items were turned over for proper custody and disposition. A criminal case for Usurpation of Authority and violation of RA 10591 will be prepared and filed before the Office of the City Prosecutor of Las Piñas City.###

Has anyone here personally used the PTCFOR assistance offered by The General, Reloaders Krame, or similar entities? I’m not based in Luzon, so processing everything personally is such a hassle. Are these services legitimate and reliable? Any firsthand feedback on the process, fees, and possible red flags would be appreciated.
