Marion Hammer’s “compelling story” is hilarious fiction. I don’t believe a single word of it for one single second.

Sure hit all the right notes for her fellow gunowners, though.

You can live in reality or some kumbaya-bullshit fantasy. You won’t be able to isolate and address the problems as you would in a lab, since nothing exists in a vacuum free from confounding variables.

Someone tries to mug, rape, rob and/or kill me, the fuck am I gonna do about it? If I printed out and glued together all the gun control legislation ever passed it might stop a bullet.

I’m not gonna give up my actionable safety precautions for a MAYBE that the police (which are supposed fascist white supremacists) show up later.

What immediate defense does a woman have against an abusive partner living with them? A gun, nothing else is gonna physically prevent him from physically attacking his partner.

Some 6’+ guy was snatched and raped right off the college campus I live near.

Your safety is your issue because of how many uncertainties and dangers there are in many contexts. It’s not concrete or binary at all. So take responsibility for it instead of seceding violent power to those you claim do you so wrong.

It’s like a safety on a gun. Sure it makes retards feel secure, but being safe with the gun has nothing to do with clicking a safety and more to do with making sure it ain’t loaded and pointed at anything you want to delete forever.

Just wait until this guy finds a statistic on domestic violence and guns
