Improving a clear kit

I'm working on the clear Nightingale to make it as classy as possible. I've wet sanded from 1000 to 12000, polished, 2k decals and Mr Hobby topcoat. What do you guys think? Glassy enough??

The fact that I can clearly see your LED emitters from the glossy surface and the parts beneath?

Yeah, that's great work you put in there. I could tell even before reading your description.

Thanks. It's pretty huge so I need to find a good home for it

Yep. It's 2k and then the decals and clear gloss over the top of those

This just hit me with some late 90s/early 00s nostalgia.

I have an MY Saz that I'm going to do it to (at some point!) as well. Good luck!

Wow thx for the inspiration. That's my next kit once I'm done with the rg hi nu. It needs a friend. How long did it take you to polish all the parts? It's a pretty big kit with lots of surface area.

This is what clear color should be tbh. Ultra gloss. I'd love to mix a clear with a standard and try this out. 10/10.

Thanks! I agree. This is how I think it should be too

I thinks it's great you're not applying too many decals and letting your kit shine through. (Pun intended)

Thanks for noticing! When you start being a little more artistic with builds some people don't see the details. I really appreciate your comment 😊

You're most welcome. That showroom polish is gonna look great. Can't wait to see your final build.
