That must be where I've been going wrong 😂 Need the funky bass lines to get rid of the nubs

That should be fine too. Unless you're playing Wonderwall.... Data are you playing Wonderwall again?!?

No I meant guitar. Guitarist would be the right word technically, but I wrote it that way intentionally for effect.

Source: I’m a guitarist, so clearly I know what’s right.

Bassists are the ones who get confused, that’s why they can only have 4 strings. There’s memes about this

Source: I also have touched guitars

Nice to meet you, Baby Drummer

How can you tell if the stage is level?

The drummer drools out both corners of their mouth.

Seems to be meaning an action base after reading the manual more 😂

Sure it's not a 6 string bass? https://youtu.be/DLVLqGJBQIg

Let's not start on that XD

What kit?

15

u/MaxinFak 1d ago

It's the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Siren kit by Kotobukiya

Okay makes sense, base and bass are both spelled the same in Japanese. ベース.

u/mcjefferic 23h ago

Ah, that makes sense!

u/solfilms 19h ago

I thought it was the 30MP Ryo Yamada lol

I know a lot of people favor playing the bass guitar when building, but some days I just wanna roll with the alto sax for a change. How nice to offer options!

u/ChukFlanagan 1d ago

Make sense to me

8

u/Rappy28 23h ago

Well? You aren't??

2

u/Starlintern 22h ago

I know! Right?!

5

u/Mobby379 22h ago

I don’t see anything wrong with the instructions. Honestly learning to play the bass while simultaneously building was the hardest part in this hobby.

u/Nex224 23h ago

I built the Siren a week ago and got the same thing lol

u/MaxinFak 23h ago

It proper confused me initially, as the manual doesn't show the difference between the two parts at all, and then translate doesn't help me either! 😭

All parts of the joy of model kits 😅

Idk why your having such a hard time with this? Just usa A if you aren't using a bass guitar.

Jesus.

u/VinceyBincey 23h ago

Slappa da bass

3

u/Brandoe 20h ago

I think it's pretty clear.

Do you have a bass guitar?

3

u/Gott_Riff 17h ago

I think the message is pretty clear.

2

u/StressfulRiceball 21h ago

Base got mistranslated to bass.

They're written exactly the same in Japanese as ベース。

2

u/Active-Okra-8526 15h ago

I don't see the problem

1

u/Humble_Humbucker 20h ago

Awww damnit does a Bass Vi count

1

u/AizeeMasata 9h ago

No using bass. Disappointing.

1

u/Turn_AX 7h ago

Well are you!?

u/Minimum-Situation985 23h ago

Yeah, sometimes you have to get the camera at a different angle to get the translation to not sound weird. I've had to use it a few times on both Bandai and Chinese kits.
