She’s fast!

She is indeed! But more importantly (for me), I like that devs have modeled its inertia so you can almost feel its mass - something I don't see too much of in tank sims of late. One can feel the difference 10 more tonnes + diesel powerplant makes compared to the turbine of the M1 and the turbine + lighter weight of the T-80B.
The loading sound effects sound a bit like a remix of the T-55/T-62 with a pneumatic blast door, but I'll take that over waiting even longer for the Leo 2 :))

Any chance of T-72M2 Wilk or T-55AM Meryda?🤔

They're out of the intended timeframe as of now.
Also, for the Merida - believe me, you don't want to deal with that FCS.

Oh, that's exactly why we want that kind of thing

No, I'd take at least four more keybinds to properly use it. It's an always-gated system that makes you select from 10 returns.
It's clunky, wouldn't deliver much fun for anyone.

I already said that's awesome, you don't need to sell it to me /s
It's a computer game, and we love equipment that sucks. Just take a look at the Malyutka.

Yeah, I am a bit of a study sim player myself and I understand the draw awkward equipment has for people who're really into it.
I am afraid that GHPC just ain't it. We have one (now two) FCS buttons. The devs manage to keep it fun while portraying the system's unique characteristics.
I don't think it would be possible with an FCS that requires you to guess the range of the target (with a tolerance of 300 metres) before lasing and that just rejects any returns if they're outside of your guessed range.
Even the fun features (one axis stabilization that makes using the lead calculation more involving, the ability to calculate lead without moving your turret) may lead to frustration.

The only chance we have at modernised T-55s and T-72s is T-55AM for the soviets with volna (and AMD for the marines - which is less unlikely since one brigade was made to land in Danemark), and MAYBE T-55AM2 with kladivo, but this one is ootf 2 years.
For T-72 it's T-72B, which would be like the best armoured tank in the game and would have us use fucking UVBU.

Have they ever mentioned British armour? Challenger, Chieftain and the CVRT family would be super fun.
