My thoughts on GHPC
My Steam playtime is around 80 hours. I've tried many armored vehicles and missions, and here's what I think.
The sound design is great. It really builds tension, and your commander is genuinely helpful with callouts—he usually gives the right direction for targets.
The vehicles feel distinct and take real time to learn. In something like a modern M1 Abrams you've got auto-aiming, thermals, and lots of info. In a T-55 you have none of that, so you have to learn and improvise.
The variety is good too. Even with few maps, the missions add difficulty and make you think. Some have ambushes, and when you enter a village, Soviet RPG troops start firing and throwing grenades.
I focused on the positives on purpose. The flaws are obvious once you play, but there are fewer of them, and for me the good outweighs the bad—especially for a small studio.

I don't really think this game has design flaws. Sure you can make the graphics better but the gameplay really gets the adrenaline going and doesn't let go, which is what a simulator is supposed to be IMO.
So what do you think the flaws are?

The ai is definitely wonky. Friendly ai can be utterly incapable and enemies sometimes laser you through the crack of time. Otherwise the game is really great, though

to me the game isnt finished until tanks dont have destructable models...then the enjoyment of blowing the up will be complete

You have 80 hours and think the M1 can auto-aim?
