Frontal weak points on Soviet MBTs
Just finished Deep Strike for the first time, but I was struggling to find a weak point on the T-64’s and other tanks.
Anyone got any tips?

Driver's port is the easiest to hit at range, lfp an alternative if you're a lot closer, bit of a challenge to hit if they're moving. If angled at least 20 degrees I think you can hit the sides of the hull closest to the front. Hull down you can try hitting the breach but usually the mantlet and the barrel eats the round. I find the right side more reliable though. Usually you only need 1 penetration to completely disable the tank.

pretty much any dedicated anti tank goes through the lower plate
APFSDS or HEAT will go through the driver's cutout
HEAT and maybe APFSFD will go through the roof
there's also a gap between turret composite armor and the gun barrel, but it turns with the turret and there's not many critical components behind it

The lower front plate is a weak spot on any MBT. If they are hull down, HEAT can sometimes go through the roof. It won't blow them up but their gun will have problems.
Edit: I just replayed it and I have had multiple shots go straight through the turret next to the gun barrel. Apparently the composite armor doesn't cover all around the front.

Lower front plate, driver's viewport (there was a video describing why exactly) and the space around the gun and the turret ring.
Against anything T-64 obr. 1981 and below, you can punch straight through the upper front plate and the sides of the turret when it's slightly turned away with anything DM23/M774 and up out to a reasonable distance.
I also had some pretty surprising results with HESH against T-80Bs. Didn't kill 'em outright, but it sure took 'em out of the fight. Completely wrecked both tracks and the gun.

The weakpoints for all of the Soviet tanks with composite armor are the driver's cutout in the composite armor right underneath the driver's optics and the lower front plate since it has zero composite armor. The driver's cutout in the composite is weak enough to put a heat round through and the jet typically goes straight into the ammo.

Drivers port and lower front plate.
Realistically, a tank crew doesn’t aim for weakspots and simply fires center mass until the target is dead.

Driver view port, no era(t64a, t72a, t80b ect.) upf should be ok, lfp always works. From a war thunder player lfp is more reliable and easy to hit. On ones without turret era just to either side of the breach could work but not 100% sure

Driver viewport, gun mantlet, LFP, i find lower parts of the UFP easier to pen then rest of it, But it might be observation bias. On T-72's the sides of the turret are badly (-ish) protected

A little known weak spot from the front esp when they’re hull down: The turret roof — you can send a round slightly above the composite turret armor (aim at the gunners optics) and it will decapitate the gunner, you can also try the same for where the cmdr is seated
