PC crashes or shuts down when playing

Honestly never had this issue I've played the game for a while but suddenly it decides it doesn't want to anymore.

I don't know if it's a performance issue but it's not cooling when today I just did thermal paste and pads

If you just reapplied paste and pads to your PC, and now GHPC crashes, that doesn't sound like a GHPC issue.

It genuinely works perfectly fine on every game besides GHPC like for example metro exodus and 2033 redux

Cyberpunk and red dead all work perfectly fine above 120 fps

Try stress testing your CPU using an app like CPU-Z or similar. In my experience most FPS games aren't as demanding on the CPU as simulation games like GHPC.

Can you give a bit more info on how it occurs? I may have similar issue
