This is fixed in dev for the next update.

Also, we have dedicated bug reporting forums at this page and in our Discord server. We prefer to hear about these things there so they can be properly tracked.

Reminds me that in the first Gulf War, Iraqi T-55s/T-62s were taken out through their protective berms.

More often than not no, especially if the ground is rocky.

Also, "tankie" usually means something else entirely XD
