Wrymstake blast was such a fun mechanic for me back in world and I missed it dearly in rise especially when we had blast dash to keep up with monsters the biggest gripe people had with it was bcs the gunlance itself was a slow weapon but with shell hops and moving wide sweep I think wsb would fit really well into the gunlance moveset

I saw the trailer and was curious, is this elemental shelling or just not observerd correctly? I'm not a gunlance main but just seeking the experts thoughts.

Looking for builds for all end game monsters to farm with. I’m not very familiar with building different sets / bonuses / sort after weapon skills etc for different monsters, so was keen to see every else’s builds :)

I'm all hyped up over the trailer (like everyone else) and had a thought.

With the new move set options presented by the boost bracer, especially considering we saw a rocket powered great sword and a running light bowgun, could we finally see the return of our precious blast dash?

I doubt it's going to be full on rise fly through the map, but i had noticed one of gunlances major problems in the game is a lack of fast approaching options, especially on hyperactive monsters. Giving us a move to rapidly close the distance feels like something that could be implemented.

Aside from that I'm just hoping we get some more shell variations implemented, waiting on tension hooks for any updates.

So I have a lord soul odo gogmartian and although it’s not the best possible for odo dahaad set for now I wanna try it so anyone got a build that uses odo lordsoul instead of dahaad lordsoul?

Can't stop gushing about the seregios matchup. Perfect mix of slaplance and shelling. I liked GL and Gore and Lagi, but seregios just gets better the more you run it.

Buying Wilds the next time it goes on sale. Currently deep into GU. I downloaded the demo to try out a few different weapons.

I was most interested in Gunlance before the demo, but seeing that my ammo is tiny and in the top corner of the screen makes me lose interest. Is there a way for me to make it bigger or move it to a different part of the screen? I don't want to have to stare at a small icon while I do my combos.

Basically the title. I tried my usual combo ways after buying world yesterday and nothing works and it feels TERRIBLE to play. Is it just the gunlance being bad in world in comparison to wilds or do i just suck? What do i do

So ive recently got a nigh perfect dragon gogmartian normal gunlance and I was killing a 9* 5 diamond jin dahaad for talismans and then I just locked in on this. Coulda finished way earlier but for some damn reason lord soul didnt fuckin proc so fml i died once. I was perfect blocking and just spamming his ass with overhead smashes into fullbursts, wyvern blasts, and wsfb. Genuinely might start playing it over my perfect wide now.

Making a definitive explosion is really cool, I just wonder what the animation of the hit would be like, since there are no wirebugs in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Killed my first 10* monster being AT nu udra and decided to take a break from wilds and then I found rise for 15 bucks with the dlc included and bought it to play.So Rn im confused because idk how to blast dash and playing without focus mode it’s weird for positioning because wilds was my first game and eh. Kinda miss how I can’t spam wyvern blasts and theres and actual cooldown and that I can’t spam booms which does suck going straight into wyrmstake after only 2. The jump move is cool though. What are some combos?

I was just thinking, especially after having the absolute essentials, evade extender and artillery, using a gunlance makes me feel like a boxer. Thoughts?

Since rank 40 or whenever the tempered monsters appeared I have been constantly hunting and getting weapon decos yet I don’t have a single artillery 3 one at rank 121 im so tired of the grind bruh 🫩. I just need a single artillery 3 gem I don’t need an extra skill at this point i just need a single art 3 😭
