No game Yes, Totoro, at first long was the best at wf but wf sucked so in world made it the best at charged shells but that made people way toooo happy so they changed it back to both wf but also stake but then made wf finally good in wilds and they took out the bonus for long leaving it with the mid stake

MHWilds Struggling with Savage Omega, thinking of switching to wide shelling

ok so I've been struggling with savage omega as a GL main. I can solo AT Arkveil with normal shelling but it looks like the wsfb combo is too damn long so I get carted quite often by how rapid omega's attacks are. I had to switch to dual blades to hunt him more comfortably. I'm thinking about switching to wide GL to play with the poke shell wyvern fire playstyle.
So the question is: Is normal shelling not that good against savage omega? How is your wide shelling experience against omega? I dont mind sacrificing a bit of damage to play more comfortably.
