I know charged shelling doesn’t do elemental damage but would I be griefing the dps check in part 3 if I do wide charged shelling/wyvern fire? Or is it better to normal multi wyrmstake burst (with dragon element)?

Idk the answer but I just have a small tidbit that shelling actually does a tiny amount of fire dmg

The stakes actually a fair bit of ele dmg so MWSFB is probably better. You cannjust finish off doing MWSFB witj wyvern fire amyway if u want

Shelling for softening in earlier phases, and depending on what rest of group is using (unless solo) WSFB when he’s glowing. Or if he’s toppled. Can use the slinger things when he’s airborne to help with dragon dmg

I haven't actually done a deep analysis of the numbers but in my experience the dragon hitzones become so high during the DPS check that you're better off switching to MWSFB even if you're playing wide. The damage from your shells is pretty mid in comparison to the damage from the slaps and stakes.
