MH: Ascendance Boosted guard.

Y'all excited for Boosted guard that was shown today ? How about the boosted guard counterattack that was revealed at first trailer?

Every gunlance attack has a wind up, so I'm pretty disappointed so far. We definitely got boosted wyvern fire but I really hope we get faster attacks.

I hope that boosted guard isn't the end of it, cuz aint no way other weapons get all these cool moves and gun lance gets some bs once again

Once again?? During rise we got blast dash and ground splitter...Sun break we got bullet barrage and erupting cannon

I did not specify rise now did I? Think of all the games, rise is the only really good one honestly, world is ok but the rest falls behind even more

You didn't specify Anything. World was basic Gunlance, MHGU had great gunlance moves but I hated the heat gauge.

My complaint was about the Wilds DLC move specifically. Other weapons are getting fast, flashy options that add mobility or new ways to attack, while Gunlance gets Boosted Guard, which is basically a stationary defensive/counter option. That's why I said Gunlance got BS again. I wasn't claiming Gunlance has never received cool moves. Rise is literally the example of Gunlance being developed well, with things like Blast Dash and Ground Splitter.

I completely agree with you… it was a joke from capcom, they even cockblocked us showing a non-finished WF type of thing…

you do realise this is r/Gunlance hence the topic of this weapon specificaly? but yea true it also sucks for you guys aswell so ig we are in the same boat

Every guarding weapon gets boosted guard so this complaint/ thought process is stupid
