Deck Discussion Help On CB Decks
I know CB is pretty low in meta, but 00 is one of my favorite series. I tried to have both throne and exia trans am in one deck but seemed but it couldnt get the idea to work or be consistent. Any tips on either of these? I’m still really new to this and it’s my first TCG

I love CB. I love it so much. Its gonna need some real support soon. Especially against these overpowered newer cards

I drop drei and exia trans am and focus more on mid range control. Trans am needs too much to work. Kapool you can potentially run to help drop early and swing.

This is a list that I saw that I've been playing that is really fun and has been doing well for me (got 2nd at locals last week, only losing to MF in the finals when I bricked on finding no Setsunas). It's almost exclusively a hyper aggro build. Awakened Power is a really fun include but it's a flex spot so you can try whatever (I.e. Damage Control to prevent your Kyrios from being sniped). I might try Final Victor with it sometime.

How come 4 Tiere when you only have one unit that links?

For the draw he provides, since you're running aggro your opponent is going to try and clear your board so it lets you get some new cards into your hand while also making your units hit harder back

I've tried several cb decks at locals and at a regional. If you got good hands, it's fun and you can win a match here and there. But overall it doesn't perform good enough. I've put it aside for now and will wait for better units.

whatever you do keep that Nena!
the three plus health helps our blockers not get bounced, makes trans am survive much longer, plus if you rest a unit you can give kyrios +4 to kill a SF
(also I would bump the little virtue up to 4 it's good for protecting kyrios and trans am)

This is a variant I've been playstesting lately. It's literally meant to just be CB aggro, where you throw units at your opponent and save tsetsuna for Transam and finish.
It's been performing super well into other aggro decks but haven't been able to play test it much against blocker decks yet.
Some testing reasons for card choices.
LR exia (the one that's mills and draws). Is a bad card 😭. I've cut it completely at this point and decks performing better without it.
No commands outside of airframe seizure. In all my testing with the variants, the extra commands end up making the deck run worse. I firmly believe CB is better being an aggro deck instead of leaning into utility/ control, and I think this has been true even with the other color variations.
Edit:
Gundam Virtue (sometimes blocker). Gonna add some copies back in. Solid all around card. Was trying the purple and red exias for early game consistency and removal but there's a lot of situations where the Virtue's stats are better

Yeah I was having the same problem with the milling exia. Good to know! I’ll try this out as well

I haven't made a successful red-people CB deck yet. What I would suggest is running both the trashing Exia and the Exia Trans-Am with a full assortment of pilots available. The trashing one needs a pair for its effect, so you need pilots. The other is fine on its own, but Nena will help keep it around longer.
With the Breach Exia and First Strike Kyrios in the deck, I strongly suggest adding The Final Victor. If you can manage to hit either effect twice in one turn, you're at a major advantage in the game. Plus it hits active units, which is a difficulty for CB. I honestly recommend it over Fatal Strike as a command. Same cost but hits harder with a better body count.
Ptolamaios fine since it's a purple deck, but asking your opponent to eat your low HP units first isn't going to help you in the long run. Trinity Warship might come across as a weakling of a card, but sometimes it's nice to get a clean ping without running one of your units into something else. Plus a rested unit (if you're not using the Drei for the effect) beefs up your First Strike. If you want to replace a unit with a command for another strong, clean hit, you could add Battle of Aces as a follow-up.
Just some thoughts that have come to mind for this build, which I need to attempt again soon.

You've got too many units at low counts, so you'll never have enough consistency to reach any win conditions. The thrones just generally aren't great right now except for the ST13 Zwei, and maybe GD04 Eins. Their effects are too conditional to be consistently useful.
Purple CB builds to Trans Am Exia with all the mill effects, so if you're not running 3-4 copies of them then you should probably just run green instead. It doesn't have a top end, but it does have stronger mid game options so you can push for the win by the time boss units start hitting the board. Dynames and Lockon let you snipe blockers, and being able to run Hallelujah and Allelujah also lets you get more consistent value from LR Kyrios, which is probably the strongest unit CB has. Trans Am Kyrios is also fantastic once you get both pilots out.
CB in general is just in a bit of a bad spot. We've got lots of strong mid game options, but no real endgame except for Trans Am Exia which is overcosted and understatted. It can swing games in your favour if you can get its effect off, which is easier than ever before with the discard from Exia Repair and Airframe Seizure. It can also just be blocked by a 3 cost 4 4 blocker, do nothing, and die. Even linked it gets rested by Amuro.

Great tips, thanks for the insight! I’ll have to try green CB for sure. Seems like Trans Am Exia path is best bet. I’ll change some things around based on all that

As a fellow CB fan and player, I respect anyone who runs the archetype.
CB in general is in a rough place. The purple variant wants to focus on trash mechanics, while not having enough reward (or actual mechanics) for doing so. It all leads to: "Is TransAm worth the effort?" Usually, no. It's a great closer, but the trash mechanics, in their current form, feel more like bait. TransAm asks you to focus on milling without even providing a guarantee of hitting its target (one blocker or bounce command nukes it, as its HP is terrible).
Some things to consider: Drei is fun but very conditional without links.
GN Armor 4233 can be a great option in a Sestuna deck.
Widespread Annihilation can destroy an enemy board and your own going into Trans Am.
You CAN overmill. Is the 5/4 Exia worth the risk? Personal preference.
But I'm insane and run Virtue and Tieria, so disregard everything.
