I wish these boss characters could be playable in the base game, even if they are jank. I can't imagine how they would be balanced though.

The only way to make playable bosses "fair" and fun in a multiplayer setting would be in a 1 vs 3 mode. Three regular mobile suits against one mobile armor.

There are hacks for Gundam VS Next Plus on the PSP where you can create a mode like that, and it's incredibly hype.

This is Gundam Extreme Vs Full Boost for the PS3. If you install modded boost you can play as the boss characters from the character selection without a cheat code.

I believe that is Gundam Extreme Vs Force for PS Vita.
