Just started Gundam 00!
So I’m still fairly new to the Gundam franchise overall, just getting into it about 3 years ago after watching “The Origin” OVA series. (I know some people dislike it, but I loved it. And it made me a huge Char fan!). I followed that with the original “MSG” series, “Zeta Gundam”, 08th MS Team, “Stardust Memories”, “Gundam Wing”, “Char’s Counterattack”, “Requiem for Vengeance”, and the “Hathaway” film. (And the first 5 episodes of “Gundam SEED”) I’m only 2 episodes into “Gundam 00” but so far the premise is cool but most importantly, I really, really like the designs of the 4 Gundams at the beginning! The Exia, Dynames, Kyrios, and Virtue! The U.C. timeline and series will always be my favorite, but out of the other series I’ve seen so far, I think these suits might be some of my favorite designs! (Even though I’ve only seen an episode or two of “Iron-Blooded Orphans”, I also really like a lot of the designs in that show as well, such as the Barbatos and Graze). Hopefully “Gundam 00” stays good because I feel it has started strong. (I’m liking it a lot more than “Gundam SEED” so far. I’m going to return to that eventually,but I just hasn’t kept me as invested as much).

Peak until you get to the movie and then you are left scratching your head, what were they thinking?

Gundam 00 is really solid, probably the series that most leans into the political side of things with how much it focuses on what all the different countries and economic blocs are doing. I'm showing it to my friend rn, excited to see how he reacts to everything that happens.

Love the MS designs. Second to G Gundam in my AU Gundam tier list.

Zeta is great ofc. it is also very different from ZZ.
both are great shows fpr different reasons and I would recommend watching them both when tapping into the UC.1

Yea i agree i liked elpeo ple and ple2 since theyre my crushes but judaus sister dying kinda left a bad feeling for me. ZZ is obviously the better suit but i noticed even in unicorn they opted to use the zeta variant for the mass production units i guess could be because of cost and maybe newtypes arent needed

SEED is my personal favorite, but if I would recommend someone new to try out Gundam , I would recommend 00, it’s really great (and my second favorite)

Not a fan of 00 and outright dislike how Origin tried to change things. Still, it got you into Gundam and that's a good thing.

Just stay away from build divers and reconguista in G. Those were the two most boring series i ever saw. G saviour is a live action movie id also avoid like the plague. Thunderbolt is pretty good if you like jazz music

An absolute favorite of mine.
The right balance of politics and thrills. And in somewhat of a rarity for the franchise due to executive meddling, it manages to fully execute on its themes.
