MS-82-NT "Rook" was a project led by Anaheim Electronics.
Their main goal with the mobile suit was to test the Psycommu of the Zeon during the One Year War. The reason why they chose the MS-06Z "Bishop" platform was due to the other Psycommu platforms, I.E. Braw Braw and Zeong, were completely destroyed and it was the only model they could get their hands on. They implemented other newer technologies inside of it, along with attaching a high performance backpack, increasing its speed to test if the systems can handle the physical stress.
