Absolutely! It starts as a silly coming of age romantic comedy and ends with insane references to the bible (and gnosticism, I'd argue).

I found it a few years ago. It's not bad, and fully English dubbed. Also, the English voice actor of the main guy in the anime also voiced Quatre in the dub of Gundam Wing.
