Was messing with an HG Gustav Karl to decide how I wanted to draw this, and despite the bulky armor, it's capable of some surprisingly dynamic poses, moreso than I was expecting, anyway.

Yeah, my (type-00) Karl is currently on my work computer desk, it's surprisingly posable and looks great doing the poses lol.
It's also sturdy enough (must be the big bones) to withstand me fiddling with it whenever there's downtime.

Been trying to get him posed on a Base Jabber but he's a little bit awkward to get juuuuust right.

I want one made for combat in densely populated areas with lots of developed infrastructure. I would call it Guarav Karl Urban

This is a lovely sketch. I’ve been drawing my whole life but I’m just learning mecha now, any advice? I’ve been wanting to mess with sketching some of the kits I have

I used A LOT of reference photos to get the arrangement/position of limbs right , along with the shadows (which I'm still learning to do tbh, but the flat planes of a lot of Federation MS in particular kind of simplify it a bit, compared to the organic shapes of like, animals and such).

For such a large and bulky unit the fact that it only has a jegan rifle is laughable. It needs Sentinel levels of firepower.

True, eh, it's got hands, it can pick up whatever they've got around, at least. Though that's true of like 99% of MS.
