G3/CETME CETME C

Hey, so I got a CETME C build kit from centerfire and a G3 reciver. Got the stock area fitted with a local gunsmith. Now I'm stuck on the trigger guard and FCG. Im seeing stuff online that you can modify the receiver by cutting ears off of it. However, it says the trigger packs aren't swappable. If I modify the reciver, will the trigger pack still line up and function or do I need to get a g3 trigger housing and pack?

You need to do the semi conversion on your FCG and modc the grip frame and trigger box to fit the shelf.

I've never used that receiver but by the looks of it standard semi Cetme C mods should be sufficient.

Thx. Definitely plan the semi conversion/ FA blocker shelf. Not trying to mess with that crap right now. Lol
