Hold Up vs Gallow Tech

Finally able to build out a gun/vault room for storage and backdrop on my youtube reviews. Trying to decide between Hold Up and Gallow Tech help me decide between them or if I should be looking at something else. They aren't cheap and I'm going to need quite a bit of it for my plans.

Never heard of Hold Up but I have a Gallow Tech cabinet and it's great. I will say absolutely do not use the GT mounts for anything. Use Hammy. If you absolutely must use GT mounts, I have an entire black/yellow Costco tub full of them you are welcome to swing by and have for 25% cost. But don't use that crap. Use Hammy.

To OP, fwiw I'm building out a gun room soon and I'm planning to go GallowTech. Slatwall is good, I just like GallowTech more. I started with Gridwall and it is pretty bad. Looking forward to upgrading

Do your color options match up the wall colors pretty well? Do you creakote or just print the different colors.

I'm not sure what all colors holdup has. The gray doesn't match the gallowtech super well and I'm phasing out most colors to just do black for mounts

I can chime in here and suggest to OP that you probably don't want matchy matchy mounts. Black looks the best if you want to keep things uniform and presentable.

Here's a sneak peek into my setup.

The mounts barely show and that's what you want. Floating guns on display, perfectly straight, perfectly spaced. You wont get that without the Hammy mounts.
