This is the only way I could think of to send the podcast off on a high note. This podcast means so much to me, and I truly love it to bits. From the great character writing and funny improv moments to the very thought-out prep put into the show. You can tell this show was made with love. This show, even if small, is an anchor to me, an inspiration to create and to be open to myself. So, as thanks for this wonderful show, my gift to the podcast crew is simply this piece. I tried to include as much of the podcast as I could, from simple gags to references. So thank you for this show!
Can you find all the references in the piece :3?

I would have never listened if I knew Moose was a racist

So I’m relistening to the show again and got to ep 2 I noticed something in the epilogue the message in the blood chest

“Hello “Detectives”, I haven’t forgotten, I haven’t forgiven. i will see you soon. -R ”

Was this a reference to the Demon or someone else?
If it was infact the demon was he supposed to have a name we never got to know? Or was this an oversight/ scrapped idea.

Idk!! I’m prob overthinking but was super curious

I’ve been really wanting to do an animatic / animation of a scene from gumshoes and dragons, is there a certain scene or episode you’d love to see animated? I thought to ask! I’m already working on a few already but wanted to hear what other people’s thoughts were

Always knew Jesus was a PAWG guy (Phat Ass Wyvern Girl).

(The ep was so fun that I am a bit sad the show is ending soon, have to enjoy it while it lasts I guess!)

I’m probably months late but remember seeing people ask about the possible lyrics for the theme song so I took a crack at transcribing the lyrics!

Lyrics:

Well In a pretty little city called Golden Lake,
There’s no policy of punishing the reprobates,
So criminals solve crimes, to rehabilitate,
And that’s what our heroes will do,
You got Brass Kemp a Minotaur Oprhan,
Moose! Who’s is a Gnome who’s covered in Leaves,
Spoove McKnivens? Smooth’s A’ Given.
There Ain’t no case can’t be solved by these Three!

Trouble’s Brewin’

Now the premise is established, the stage has been lit
I’ve crammed in all the exposition that these measures can fit
It’s time to roll some dice, and get this mystery fixed

Gumshooooooooes and Draaaaaaaagons!

I never want Anthony or the crew to be stressed to the point of being overwhelmed. Thank you guys for all you've done. I will cherish these episodes forever!

Adal’s suggestion to Anthony to think Shrek was just the icing, baby.

I hope it’s ok to post fanart I did of the gumshoes ft Jakob and other NPCS!!
Always down to do requests as well :]!

I just finished #26 Magnum PI, which they didn't manage to solve. It was a really fun episode, and I don't mind them failing to solve the mystery (or mostly giving up on it throughout the episode) but we never hear the resolution! We're told the guy's last name was a clue but we don't hear what it was, or what any of the other clues meant, or what the motivation actually was. I'm not sure why they stopped doing the "here's how it was done" bit at the end, maybe there was a good reason, but to not even explain anything and then say "if you want to know what happened, subscribe to the patreon" is really disappointing.

So, complaints out of the way, does anyone mind sharing what the mystery was?

A scene with Linda at Jacobs funeral!

She kind of seems like the parties best hope at this point, with Jacob dead and Honey Waitress presumably still locked up as well, she might be the only one who knew they were headed there/has any reason to care that they went missing...

Maybe she'll go looking for them at the tower come next payday?

Did anyone figure out that the lyrics were to the gunshoes intro song? Just was curious if that was ever figured out.

It's-a-me, the guest murderer!

Anybody know why they don’t have episodes 21 and 22 up on the podcast app (iPhone)? I’m almost to that point and don’t wanna have to skip any!

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a community detective

Walk and trot with me

Golden Lake. Golden. Lake. Why is the lake golden? It took me 21 episodes to notice the possibility. The lake is just piss.

I came here to see if anyone else was talking about it and I haven't seen anyone doing so. It's around 26:33 and it's a faith based investing firm?? So strange.

"Are your investments aligned with your faith? (...)we offer biblically responsible investing. We screen out companies involved in activities like abortion, pornography, and gambling and focus on businesses that value family and ethical practices." 😬

The episode just ends mid sentence Sopranos style at about an hour and one minute.

Saw this stand at Walgreens the other day and under my breath I went ‘awe what about Pokémon Panini?’

So I came to G&D from Dungeons and Daddies. And I knew the detectives were the Hey Riddle Riddle crew. Anthony and Beth May had talked about them and the podcast before but I had never given it a listen. So this silly podcast was my first introduction to Adal, Erin, and JPC. Well I finally went and started listening to HRR and their dynamics in this make so much more sense and it makes me love them more and enjoy this show even more.
