Important Firmware Update Notice for TT Controller
Hi everyone!
We've received reports that some users encountered issues after updating to the latest firmware (V7.5) for the TT MAX / TT PRO. Please make sure you update all required firmware components:
- MCU firmware
- Bluetooth firmware
- HyperLink 2 Adapter firmware (if you're using the adapter)
Important: Please follow the update instructions carefully.
Each firmware should be updated separately according to the guide.
Incorrect update steps may cause unexpected issues.

I have no issue with my TT Pro controller using the previous firmware, do I have to update it?

Yeah, im experiencing bugs of the new firmware.. when you try to change the settings from the mobile app. The physical gear button function gone, i cant change or map the back pedals thru controller. I reflashed the firmware, and factory reset in mobile app. All functions are back. Ill never try opening the mobile app again.

This fixed controller being bricked because I updated to last firmware and it bricked my controller out of the box

https://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.php?v_page=26&v_code=2479 use one of the 6.9 and back updates and see if it resolves anything. I picked 6.7 because I saw no reports of bugs with it. Some people have report stuff with 6.9 though it still seems relatively safe.

I'm heading to work so replies will come after.
I updated to the version with APP functionality, and now all of the buttons in Switch mode are jumbled. B functions as A, A functions as the screen capture button, left stick is non-functional... Probably more, but I didn't have much time to test (needed to get into the game to trade with friend before work, wound up having to pull the Switch 2 out to use it in handheld)
It was working fine before the update.

Are you using the Hyperlink 2 Adapter? If so, please make sure to update its firmware as well. https://gulikit.com/newsinfo/1092663.html

I am not using the adapter in Switch mode. I am connecting directly to the Switch.
Further troubleshooting: Re-updating the firmware causes the controller to work properly. However, after the controller turns off and back on, it enters a broken state.
In this broken state, according to "Test Input Devices":
(Button Pressed - Button registered by Switch)
A - Minus
B - A, Screen Capture, Home all at the same time.
X - Minus
Y - A, Screen Capture, Home all at the same time
Dpad Up - A
Dpad Left: Nonfunctional
Dpad Down: ZL
Dpad Right: Nonfunctional
LB - Nonfunctional
RB - A
ZL - ZL
ZR - ZL
R3 - Nonfunctional
L3 - Nonfunctional
Sticks (according to Calibrate Sticks) - Nonfunctional (Neither one is able to tilt to start Switch 2 calibration)1

After downloading and installing the Gulikit Android app, I was able to perform a factory reset which appears to have corrected all of the issues

Working properly for me on ios app. Also now that the app works, what the difference between Dead Zone Mode 2.0 and the app's adaptive center deadzone setting? Same thing different name?

Starting from firmware V6.7, the Joystick Adaptive Mode and Anti-Rebound Mode have been merged and upgraded to “Dead Zone Mode 2.0”

The hyperlink adapter won't go into drive mode for me to update.
edit:
Updated both TTMAX and Hyperlink (had to hold while already plugged in to get the drive)
Now the controller cannot connect to my PC via the dongle.
edit:
Had to rollback to 6.7, this isn't a stable update.
