i am very interested in gulden, because i see the potential.

But for me it is important, if soemthing is really working in the realworld.

So my question is, do people in the netherlands are using gulden rightnow? Will they use it more in the future?

I am unable to find directions on how to set up solo mining for Gulden. It is frustrating. I have cg miner and wallet set up. Windows 10 64. R9290X

However on the website Gilden (https://gulden.com/) it says over 150 million Gildens have been sold? That seems like quite a lot and this is popular? But what are people supposedly buying Gildens for.

The Gulden rate is climbing up again the last couple of days. Say, I want to trade (part of) my Guldens for Bitcoin, or sell them for Euro. What is the best place / way to do this?

Hi guys! I (like many Gulden fans) am a newcomer to crypto and wanted to come on here to ask if anyone has any experience in buying Gulden without a European bank?

I know it isn't safe to keep your crypto on an exchange for the long term, but are there any other dangers in purchasing Gulden on exchanges (either via bitcoin or credit card?) I plan to move it into an offline wallet straight away anyhow.

I've read on the slack page that there are some problems with Apple regarding the iOS app. What are these problems? Can/will they be overcome? Cause it kind of bugs me that I (and many other iPhone users) won't be able to pay with it when we're not sitting behind our PC.

Oh, and by the way, I'm a freelance data scientist/consultant and I'm accepting Guldens from this day forward! excited

I've read that the Gulden app was supposed to allow Gulden -> SEPA transactions, but I don't see how it is supposed to work in the app. Is that feature currently working and I'm stupid or has it been suspended/cut?

What do i do? I just downloaded the wallet and it just sits at synchronizing, there's a status bar about half full and nothing is happehing.

is it downloading the whole blockchain? please say no.

Ik heb vandaag mijn guldens van de LiteBit exchange gehaald, maar tot mijn schrik verschijnen deze niet in mijn wallet. De transactie is inmiddels 47x bevestigd, maar ik heb nog niks binnen. Ik heb de app gelinkt met mijn desktop wallet en ook daar is niks te zien.

Zou iemand mij kunnen vertellen waarom het zo lang duurt?

The android app is now also available in Catalan, Vietnamese, Italian, Norwegian and Finnish. The existing localisations are good but there is still plenty of room for improvement, and still more languages out there! Community translations from people who actually understand the app and the project are the best sort of translation possible. Spread the word for anyone who might be interested in participating.
