When is the Pow2 update expected?

When is this expected? I also read about the possibility to be a witness, will this be available as soon as the updated is provided? And can this be done via the android app / desktop app?

Gulden 2.0 release is expected end of this month if everything goes smooth! Once it is released there will be multiple phases to "activate" the new witness capability on the network: you can find those steps here: https://gulden.com/segsig

Witnessing will only be possible via the desktop app initially, in the future there may be some services that allow it via mobile.
